An Evening with Filmmaker Norman Weissman

For more than four decades, Norman Weissman wrote, directed, and produced works for film and television, including documentary films for the United States Information Agency and travelogues on the culture of the Netherlands. The topics of his projects ranged from the Vietnam War to trash collection in New York, and from Muhammad Ali to scuba diving for sunken treasure. Join us for a screening of several rare Weissman films from the 1950s-1970s, followed by a Q&A with the director. 35mm and 16mm prints from the Yale Film Archive.
