Award-Winning Performer Seth Adam Headlines Rock Benefit Show in Hamden

Sponsored by: Spring Glen Church

On Friday, September 15th, Spring Glen Church in Hamden will be hosting their tenth annual Rock & Blues Night, which each year raises funds to support a worthy cause. This year the money collected will go to benefit two Connecticut-based charity groups, Simply Smiles and Christian Community Action. The event, which takes place from 7 – 10pm, will feature music from Seth Adam, who was the winner in 2010 of the New Haven Advocate’s Best Rock Band category, and was nominated in 2016 for Songwriter or the Year at the New England Music Awards. There will also be musical entertainment from The Don’ts, featuring Kriss Santala and Barbara Shepard from the Who Whos, and from Blue Trail, Hamden’s own Toe Tappin’ Home Timey Band, will be there to deliver an eclectic blend of original and classic Folk, Rock, Country and Bluegrass numbers. Between each musical act there will be karaoke interludes, and light food items and soft drinks are available at no charge. Admission is free, with all donations being voluntary, and the concert is open to everyone. Spring Glen Church is an open and affirming UCC church, and is located at 1825 Whitney Avenue in Hamden.
