Choral ensemble of approximately 60 singers, with a special commitment to new choral music
Open to experienced singers from the Yale and New Haven community
Course credit available to graduate students
2017–2018 repertoire includes works by Fairouz (Anything Can Happen), Pärt (Berliner Messe), Hindemith (Apparebit repentina dies), Beethoven (Symphony No. 9), and Respighi (Lauda per la Natività del Signore). The 24-voice chamber chorus will perform Gabriel Jackson’s To the Field of Stars and Victoria’s O quam gloriosum. Guest conductors include Marin Alsop.

Internationally renowned chamber choir, performing sacred music from the 16th century to the present day, with a special interest in historically-informed performance practice
Open to all Yale undergraduate, graduate, and professional students

2017–2018 repertoire includes major works by Joby Talbot (The Path of Miracles), James MacMillan (Seven Last Words), J.S. Bach (St. John Passion, arr. by Schumann), D. Scarlatti (Stabat Mater), and J.S. Bach (Reformation Cantatas)

Yale Repertory Chorus and Yale Recital Chorus

Open to all Yale students
Sing for pay or course credit
Perform eclectic repertoire with student conductors in recitals and concerts throughout the year
Weekly afternoon rehearsals

Audition Information
Perform a short solo song or aria. Please bring 3 copies of your music—an accompanist will be provided.
Must demonstrate good sight-reading ability.
