Civic Orchestra of New Haven Spring Concert

New Haven, Conn: The Civic Orchestra of New Haven (CONH), under the baton of Maestro Christopher James Hisey, will present its Spring Concert on Saturday, May 5th, at 7:30 p.m. at Battell Chapel, located at the corner of College and Elm Streets in New Haven. The suggested donation is $20 for adults, and $15 for seniors and students.

In celebration of Maestro Hisey’s final performance with the Civic Orchestra, the program will include selections by Shostakovich, Bach, and Copland, as well as a performance of Dvorak’s New World Symphony. The Orchestra will simultaneously honor Hisey’s fourteen years of service as Music Director, while welcoming the Music Director for the 2018-19 season, Ms. Kalena Bovell.
