The Derby Public Library will host an informational presentation, Getting to
Know Your Kneeds, on Monday, July 13 at 6:30 PM. Mark Weissman, Derby resident, will give an overview of joint replacement surgery. Mark’s resume includes engineering and consulting work with Stryker, Surgical Dynamics and DePuy. Reasons for surgery, types of implants, recovery and rehabilitation, and success rates will be discussed.
