The Yale University African American Affinity (YAAA) Group will host a discussion with Joseph “Reverend Run” Simmons, on the topic “FAMILY VALUES”. Mr. Simmons believes that teaching family values is a vital part of parenting and that family values become a foundation that children use as a moral compass to make healthy choices. This lively discussion will be moderated by Juan Castillo of 94.3 WYBC. This event is free and open to the public. Book signing to follow the discussion.
Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons is a pioneering musician, accomplished author, fashion mogul and star of MTV’s hit reality show Run’s House. The man once known as the superstar rapper called “Run” from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group Run DMC found a further, deeper calling, and has reemerged to the world as “Reverend Run,” sharing his ministry with millions of fans both old and new. He touches people worldwide through his written works, music, fashion, and television endeavors.
