Understanding Your Financial Aid Package- Workshop

Sponsored by: Higher Heights Youth Empowerment Programs, Inc.

After a college accepts, college-bound students will receive a letter outlining how much the school will cost and what kind of financial aid package you’ll receive for one year. All financial aid award letters don’t look the same. Higher Heights Youth Empowerment Programs, Inc. is presenting this workshop for all local high school seniors and their parents to help “Understand Your Financial Aid Package”. Presenters from Wells Fargo and Southern Connecticut State University are set to help students and parents learn how to read their award letters to determine how much money it will costs to attend college next fall.

Workshop Presenters:
Lewis J. DeLuca, Jr. M.Ed.- Coordinator of Student Financial Literacy and Advising at Southern Connecticut State University
Nicole Branch- Manager at Wells Fargo Bank

***This is a free event open to the public and to any current 12th grader and their parent who lives in the Greater New Haven Area.  Registration is not needed to attend.***
