Lunchtime Book Discussion - The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenidess

This story is set in the early 1980’s and opens at Brown University. The story follows three characters in parallel and interesting narratives as they navigate college, graduation, sexual freedom, feminism, mental illness, love, divorce, and finally maturity. Ultimately, the book is about romantic love reflected against our social mores and history. Multiple copies of the book are available at the circulation desk. Participants are asked to bring a sandwich and a friend as they “chat and chew.” Dessert and beverages will be provided. Registration is requested.
