Learn about the woodchuck and his shadow during a Science Snoopers program at Derby Public Library. Me and My Shadow lends a better understanding to how shadows are made and explains what Groundhog Day is all about. The program is designed for children ages 3-7.
The Science Snoopers series introduces children to the natural world around them offering them an opportunity to explore the simplicity and complexity of science. The class includes a short talk enhanced with hands-on material, props, or an experiment, a short story related to the theme, followed by an art project. There is no fee to attend and all materials will be provided.
