Explore ways to create prints with interesting and unique surfaces

Explore ways to create prints with interesting and unique surfaces. Using various monotype techniques as a basis, learn how to add chine-collé and collage along with traditional and non-traditional materials such as metallic powders, metallic leafing, stencil work and decals. Also try a variety of registration methods useful for successful multiple run printing. A range of appropriate papers and adhesives will also be discussed. Participants should bring papers, brushes, rollers, plexiglass of their choice; other materials included. Artists with all levels of experience are welcome. Instructor: Eileen Foti

Families are welcome to attend Pajama Story Time at Derby Public Library. Children ages 3-7 may wear their pajamas and bring along their favorite bedtime buddy or blanket to listen to stories, sing songs, and enjoy a bedtime snack.
