SUNDAYS AT FOUR RECITAL: Critically acclaimed Flutist Sergio Pallottelli and Pianist William Braun will perform a recital that includes Mozart’s Sonata in F, Faure’s Fantasy, Bach’s Chaconne in D minor, and Milhaud’s Sonatine.
    Sergio Pallottelli is Professor of Flute at Longy School of Music of Bard College in Boston and the founder of the Flauti al Castello Festival in Anghiari, Italy. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Music and the Milan Conservatory in Italy. Pallottelli, has performed widely throughout Europe and South America with orchestras, in chamber music festivals and in recitals, has a special place in his heart for Latin American music.     William Braun holds a doctorate in piano performance from Yale University and is known as a gifted collaborator, soloist, and writer. He made his New York debut in concert with Dawn Upshaw, has appeared with Michael Tilson Thomas’s New World Symphony in Miami, and served as principal keyboard player for the New Haven Symphony for 25 years. Opera News has published over 200 of his essays, including interviews with Birgit Nilsson, Cecilia Bartoli, and Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
