On May 9 at 6:30pm, Milford Public Library and The Benson-Crump Community Gardens Program host “Preserving Your Garden Harvest – All Year Long” with Rachel Ziesk, Certified Advanced Master Gardener and Lecturer. Preserving your harvest doesn’t just happen in the fall. It’s a 12 month event. This lecture will help you to learn all different ways to preserve such canning, pickling, dehydrating, air drying, freezing, and fermentation. From spring peas, to summer zucchini and kale and fall tomatoes and herbs, you can enjoy the fresh flavors from your garden all year long.
