Scat, Tracks & Trails

Sponsored by: New Haven Land Trust

Join the New Haven Land Trust for an evening with wildlife tracker and wilderness educator Andy Dobos - AKA The Forest Wolf - at our Quinnipiac Meadows nature preserve! We’ll take advantage of our beautiful coastal wetland, grassland, and forest ecology to find signs of local CT wildlife small and large. Andy has many years of experience as a teacher and nature mentor, and will lead the group in identifying the many different signs of wildlife moving through the preserve. This is a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of our special combination of coastal and forest ecosystems, and to gain a new connection with the natural world.

Come out for a family friendly evening of prints, critters, and adventure in your community’s backyard!

This event is free and open to the public.

Location: 1040 Quinnipiac Ave. Preserve entrance is near the Amtrak railroad bridge. Walk in or park inside the gate and meet at the trailhead!
