Sex Trafficking of Minors

Sponsored by: Milford Public Library/Elm City Abolitionists

Elm City Abolitionists (ECA) is a group of concerned local citizens from the Greater New Haven area whose mission is to combat child trafficking and exploitation in the state of CT through increased community awareness and advocacy for survivors and those at risk. ECA serves as a volunteer team for “Love 146”, a national organization working toward the abolition of child trafficking and exploitation in the US and around the world through prevention and aftercare solutions.
Join ECA on Sat 1/27/18 from 2-5pm @ Milford Public Library (57 New Haven Ave, Milford, CT 06460) for a showing of the 2011 documentary “Sex and Money: A National Search for Human Worth” about the shocking reality of domestic minor sex trafficking in the US and the rising movement of advocates fighting to abolish It.  The film will be followed by a Q&A session and panel discussion with special guests:

*Detective Leonard Soto - Special Victims Unit, New Haven Police Department & Federal Task Force Officer, US Department of Homeland Security
