Join author, educator and map illustrator John Ro-man for a discussion of his book, The Art of Il-lustrated Maps. Roman will show many of the illustrated maps he’s created for advertising and publishing during his career, and reveal how and why the human mind instinctively accepts the ar-tistic license invoked in “not-to-scale” maps.
