The State of Women’s Entrepreneurship With Fran Pastore

Sponsored by: Women's Business Development Council

Join Fran Pastore, Founder & CEO of the Women’s Business Development Council for a discussion on the state of Women’s Entrepreneurship and why it’s more important now than ever to support women-owned businesses.
Women-owned businesses are growing at an astounding 5x faster rate than male owned businesses nationally.  Women-owned businesses represent the fastest growing segment of our national economy. Over the past year in Connecticut alone, 125,000 women-owned businesses have generated $16.5 billion in sales. It is more critical now than ever that women entrepreneurs, a bright spot in Connecticut’s economy, have the right resources to start and operate businesses.

For twenty years the Women’s Business Development Council has been leading the way for this effort by providing women with entrepreneurial training, financial education and access to capital.
