Celebrate CT Trails Weekend at Osbornedale State Park

Sponsored by: Connecticut Forest & Park Association

Put a pep in your step and a glide in your stride on the Red & Yellow Loop Trail at Osbornedale State Park on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 9:30am to 11:30am!  Take part in one of 240 free events in Connecticut to celebrate National Trails Day.  Connecticut Forest & Park Association has been coordinating this special trails weekend since 1993, in order for visitors to experience the numerous trails around the state. The terrain at Osbornedale will vary from flat to moderately steep and rocky. The trail loop has limited accessibility so for more information, please call (203)734-2513. The meeting place is at the parking lot of the Kellogg Environmental Center & Osborne Homestead Museum. Dress appropriately and bring your own water bottle.

Take a hike and be a part of the largest trails day celebration in the nation!  There’s no admission fee and registration is not required.  Rain cancels this event. For more information, please call the Kellogg Environmental Center at (203) 734-2513.  The Kellogg Environmental Center, a facility of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The center is located off of Route 34 on 500 Hawthorne Avenue in Derby, CT.
