Learn about the Flood of 1955

Marion O’Keefe, Seymour Town Historian, will talk about the devastation in the aftermath of Hurricane Diane August 19, 1955. The wide spread flooding and building destruction in the Naugatuck Valley will be discussed along with photographs taken locally of the flood. The first building of the Seymour Library was destroyed that day.
