Phil and Daniel Rosenthal present a concert at the Seymour Library

The Seymour Library is pleased to host on Dec. 6, 2017 the well known duo of Phil and Daniel Rosenthal.
The Rosenthals are a family duo that combines jazz, bluegrass and folk. Phil Rosenthal, banjo and guitar, is a former lead singer and guitarist of the legendary band “Seldom Scene” and former Connecticut troubadour. He is also a well known songwriter whose songs were covered by Johnny Cash, Bill Monroe and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and of course his own band. His son Daniel Rosenthal, trumpet and banjo, is an accomplished composer in his own right. He tours and records with the Either Orchestra and the Daniel Rosenthal Quintet and teaches at the Berklee School of Music.
