Ms. Marion O’Keefe will have a followup to her popular talk of last year on Seymour’s flood due to Hurricanes Diane and Connie on August 19, 1955 with an expanded talk on the Naugatuck Valley’s wide spread destruction and flooding of towns’ along the Housatonic and Naugatuck Rivers.
Ms. O’Keefe’s looks forward to hear from the audience’s own memories of that dark day in August that proved to be one of Connecticut’s greatest natural disasters.
