Victorian Tea Etiquette & Tea Blending

Love your caffeinated teas flavored with your favorite fruit, herb, or flower? Are you interested in Victorian tea etiquette?  Well attend a tea workshop at the Kellogg Environmental Center in Derby, Connecticut on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 1PM to 2:30PM! 

This tea workshop will be held at the Kellogg Environmental Center where you will learn the difference between the types of tea services and the “do’s and don’ts” of Victorian tea etiquette.  Then there will be a special presentation on making tea blends using various herbs, fruits, and flowers and “true teas”.  Refreshments will be provided, and you can take home handcrafted teas.  Space for the workshop is limited so please call (203) 734-2513 or email donna.kingston@ct.gov to register.  

Please come and enjoy a Victorian Tea workshop and make your own signature tea blends at the Kellogg Estate!  The Kellogg Environmental Center and Osborne Homestead Museum are facilities operated by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and are located off Route 34 on 500 Hawthorne Avenue in Derby, CT.  The Kellogg Environmental Center is open 9AM to 4:30PM, Tuesday through Saturday. The Osborne Homestead Museum is open for guided tours on Thursdays and Fridays from 10AM to 3PM, Saturdays from 10AM to 4PM, and Sundays from 12noon to 4PM.  For additional information, please call (203) 734-2513 or email donna.kingston@ct.gov.
