Details | Join the Seymour Library as we welcome in person the author and photographer Mathew Duman as he explores the artistic, historic, architectural and even humorous significance of these decorative sculptures and their role in communicating the identity of the ten universities as a place of learning and enlightenment. The colleges and universities that are known for their grotesques and will be discussed in detail are: Duke, Yale, Princeton, Trinity College, University of Chicago, Bryn Mawr, City College, Northwestern, University of Pennsylvania and Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
