Details | The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Policy Summit & End of Summer Bash, taking place on Tuesday, August 30th from 3 – 6pm at the new Hotel Marcel (500 Sargent Drive, New Haven 06511). This year’s theme is “Rethinking The New Workforce: Strengthening Our Talent Advantage to Drive Regional Economic Growth.” Over the past few years, the dynamics of the workforce have changed. Our business community has faced a drastic need to hire workers, prompting the question, where did all of our workers go? In the 2022 Policy Summit, we will address this question and rethink how we approach the workforce to ensure talent is a competitive advantage for our region. During this event, we will cover innovative approaches that are showing strong early returns, including regional sector partnerships. We will also share best practices to retain a young and diverse workforce. Join us for an in-depth conversation on the new workforce, and what it means for your business. A reception is to follow the program with networking, beer and wine, a signature cocktail, and live entertainment in the lobby of the Hotel Marcel.
