NOTE: TICKET PRICING OPTIONS AVAILABLE –Click on the ORANGE “TICKET “LINK here on this page for details **Food Pantry Collection for NICE : New Haven Inner-City Enrichment Center We invite you to bring any of the following items with you on October 22, and we will donate them to our neighbors at NICE for their monthly food pantry: Vegetable Soup/broth; Vegetarian beans dry/canned beans; dry spaghetti; pasta; rice; Unsweetened Cereal; Oatmeal; water; juice; canned sauce; canned fish; cookies; crackers; chunky soups(no pork items) & beef stew; gluten free products; cooking oil; flour Non-food items: deodorant, soap, shampoo, toilet tissue, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, diapers 4 – 5pm ~ Dance performances & Conversation 5 – 6pm ~ You’re welcome to stay on for refreshments, and mingling with the dancers as well as your community members — Event parking available: Small parking lot at the corner of West Street & Ann Street, street parking on Ann Street and Congress Avenue Since 2015, kamrDANCE has been intricately fusing tap and contemporary dance to tell very serious and very silly stories about identity, the female experience, and human behavior. kamrDANCE’s choreographic works often utilize the power of tap dance as music, along with original text, music, and physical theater. Under the direction of Artistic Director and Choreographer Alexis Robbins, kamrDANCE has performed at venues across the northeast, including Woods Hole Community Hall, Arlington Center for the Arts, Hudson Guild Theater, Triskelion Arts, Actors Fund Arts Center, Dixon Place, Center for Performance Research, Symphony Space, Arts on Site, AS220, SMUSH Gallery, the Transit Museum (Downtown Brooklyn), Whitneyville Cultural Commons, and more. In addition to live performance, kamrDANCE has self-produced four dance films. SYREN’s mission is to embrace dance as a conduit of connection, communication, curiosity, and collaboration for all audiences and abilities. SYREN has danced in classrooms, theaters, churches, temples, parks, art galleries, libraries, and museums in fourteen states and two countries.
