A postwar New York crime family’s aging patriarch (Marlon Brando) brings his reluctant son (Al Pacino) into the family business in what’s widely regarded as one of the best, most influential, and most quoted films ever made. Outstanding performances by James Caan, Robert Duvall, and Diane Keaton, among so many others. 35mm print from the Yale Film Archive. Special thanks to Paramount Pictures Corporation.
