The Medical Library strongly encourages wearing a mask while attending events and gatherings in the library. High-quality masks, such as KN95 and N95 respirators and ASTM-rated masks, provide a benefit for the wearer even if other people around them are not wearing masks. As recommended in the Yale EHS guidance, PCR testing prior to attending a large gathering can help prevent the spread of COVID and other contagions. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the Medical Library. Please do not attend if you’re feeling sick or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Visit “Safer Yale Practices” for more information and guidance on attending campus events. |
