Details | The compelling film “The Right to Read” shines a spotlight on the reading crisis in our country and investigates what science tells us about how children learn to read. You are invited to a free screening of The Right to Read, immediately followed by a panel including: Steven Hernandez, Esq., Executive Director for the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity Amber Moye, NHPS Interventionist, Former 3rd-grade teacher at Barnard Environmental Science and Technology School Camille Cooper Ed.D Education Chair, NAACP New Haven Branch The panel will be moderated by Margie Gillis, Ed.D, President, Literacy How.
