Right to Read film and panel

Details The compelling film The Right to Read” shines a spotlight on the reading crisis in our country and investigates what science tells us about how children learn to read.

You are invited to a free screening of The Right to Read, immediately followed by a panel including:

Steven Hernandez, Esq., Executive Director for the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity
Amber Moye, NHPS Interventionist, Former 3rd-grade teacher at Barnard Environmental Science and Technology School
Camille Cooper Ed.D Education Chair, NAACP New Haven Branch

The panel will be moderated by Margie Gillis, Ed.D, President, Literacy How. 

The screening will take place at the Adanti Student Center at SCSU. Please join us on May 25th by registering to view The Right to Read.
