| Details | The leadership at Winning Ways, Incorporated is honored to share the return of last year’s smash hit the “Beyoncé Brunch II” taking place August 27th from 12 – 4 PM. The proceeds will directly benefit our newest women’s initiative “Blossoming Beyond Bars,” a transformative wellness program for women in reentry and recovery. We’re collaborating with the Tow Youth Justice Institute at the University of New Haven to bring this program to the public, and our sensational Beyonce Brunch will directly fund it. Guests will participate in Connecticut’s ONLY brunch, paint and sip featuring the music and image of the superstar Beyoncé, dining on the gastro-soul food of the renowned kitchen at Jazzy’s Cabaret, and sipping on top shelf cocktails or unlimited mimosas. Entertainment includes live DJ playing all of the Queen Bey’s music including the party anthems “Single Ladies,” “Drunk in Love,” and “Formation.” Guests will enjoy exclusive drink specials, NFL game day coverage, and 4 hour party in the upscale lounge of the hottest venue in downtown New Haven (a BIPOC and woman owned business)! Reservations will cost $55 per person and will include multi course brunch, a guided painting experience, drink specials including bottomless mimosas available, and all day entertainment. We’re highlighting local businesses with an onsite shopping experience Better Ways LLC, (a premier enterprise and CBD purveyor on the Connecticut shoreline catering to upscale clients), and Bel ou Belle (esteemed clothing line founded in 2017). Since its founding in 2016, Winning Ways, Inc has been devoted to promoting and developing reentry initiatives, and developing the potential of corrections-involved persons and communities. Our programs include financial literacy classes with hands-on experienced entrepreneurs, therapeutic art courses aimed at diversity and inclusion, mentorship and connection programs, and community partnerships for advocacy and education. We have served hundreds of clients through programs in New Haven, Waterbury, Bridgeport, and expanding into Hartford, New London, and Torrington. Last year’s Beyonce Brunch garnered national attention and sold out hundreds of tickets after being featured on WFSB “Great Day at 9a,” 94.3 FM WYBC, and in the New Haven Arts Council’s The Arts Paper.
