| Details | Six playwrights. Six original, 10-minute plays. On August 24 – 26, Development Studio 49@Yale Summer Cabaret is proud to present six brand new 10-minute plays. Written by residents of New Haven and the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, these plays explore what it means to find connection to loved ones and to yourself, in the midst of ongoing change and turmoil. Each performance will feature all six plays. These plays were developed over the last few weeks in collaboration with a repertory company of six actors and 2 directors. Each actor had a chance to rehearse multiple roles in collaboration with the playwrights, and many will be playing roles outside of how they would typically be cast.
