| Details | Cabaret 56 is proud to present: Theatre Camp, a celebration of theatre and storytelling, and the joyful search for the spark of inspiration that made many of us think, “I could do that!” In the spirit of the Cabaret’s “Sandbox” season, Theatre Camp will feature performances of all varieties, including short plays, solo work, musical theatre, and everything in between, all in one evening of entertainment! Theatre Camp will bring some familiar faces back to the Cabaret 56 stage with excerpts from a new musical by The Rasa Jar’s creator Shyama Iyer, slam poetry by Romeo & You-liet lead artist Andrew Aaron Valdez, and music by Shefali Das and John Horzen, two of the writers behind We Fucked Up. Theatre Camp will also feature new plays by Juliana Morales Carreño and Destyne R. Miller, plus additional performers from the School of Drama and around Yale University that will be announced in the coming days.
