| Details | Embark on a journey into the economic future with us as we present the Regional Economy Outlook for 2024! This exclusive event promises to be a captivating exploration, offering attendees a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the economic landscapes at the regional level. The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce will host the Regional Economic Outlook Breakfast, presented by M&T Bank, on Thursday, December 14th from 7:30am to 9:30am. The event takes place at the New Haven Lawn Club located at 193 Whitney Avenue, New Haven CT 06511. Doors and onsite check-in will open at 7:30am. The event program will begin at 8am. Business leaders, elected officials, and economists are expected to attend. Luke Tilley, Chief Economist and Head of Asset Allocation and Quantitative Services for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc. (WTIA), the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank, will provide a regional economic outlook for 2024. Jorge Roberts, CEO of Avports, will also be providing an update on Tweed New Haven Airport and its proposed future plans. Avports has provided airport management at Tweed New Haven since 1998. Milo W. Peck III, Senior Manager of State and Local Tax, will discuss tax implications and the impact on the business community. As part of the annual event, the Chamber will present the 2nd Annual Regional Community Impact Awards to honor minority-owned businesses for the impact and success they are having in the Greater New Haven community and beyond.
