Details Cappella Cantorum presents its Spring Concert at First Church of Christ in Old Saybrook (366 Main Street, Old Saybrook) on Sunday, April 21, 3:00 p.m., featuring The Peacemakers by Karl Jenkins, dedicated to the memory of all those who lost their lives during armed conflict, in particular innocent civilians.” The Masterworks Chorus and Cappella Orchestra will be conducted by Simon Holt, and as a special feature, the chorus will be joined by Select Singers, a youth choir from Lyme-Old Lyme High School, under Choral Director Kristine Pekar.

The Peacemakers includes words of peace from iconic, world-changing figures such as Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King, along with other inspirational quotations of Mother Teresa, Albert Schweitzer, Anne Frank and the Dalai Lama.
