| Details | Join us for an informative meet-and-greet with Habitat for Humanity on August 7th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. This casual get-together aims to introduce the MakeHaven community to the mission and work of Habitat for Humanity. Learn about how you can get involved and make a difference in the lives of families in need of decent, affordable housing. We’ll discuss various volunteer opportunities, from participating in build days to providing support in other areas. Additionally, we’ll delve into the application process for families seeking housing assistance and share insights into how Habitat selects and approves applicants. Opportunity to sign-up for the August 10th build day will also be available. Light refreshments will be provided, snacks to share are welcome.
