Changing Perspective

Thu Sep 5 , 4 – 6 pm

Hosted by Creative Arts Workshop
Details Play with perspective to create dramatic and/or disorienting images by focusing on depth perception.

In order to achieve a sense of perspective, objects are drawn or painted in such a way that they appear to be getting smaller as they move further away from the viewer. Objects above the horizon line slant down towards it; objects below the horizon line slant up towards it. If a shape straddles the horizon line, then the lines will go both up and down.

Learn the basics of drawing three dimensionally with simple one- and two-point perspective lessons using charcoal.
