| Details | Join us for a discussion of Afro-Diasporic resistance and resiliency through cultural, martial,and spiritual practices in Latin America with a special focus on Brazil and Cuba. There will be a discussion of Afro-Brazilian martial arts and cultural practices of resistance led by Lisa Bergmann, a screening of the Cuban film La última cena, and a discussion of the film and its depiction of the struggle for Black freedom led by Roberto Irizarry. |
