Details This beginner-friendly class is designed for anyone looking to expand their studio recording skills and gain confidence in recording music and audio content. Participants will learn the essentials of studio hardware, software and recording theory, with hands-on instruction using the Focusrite 8i8 interface. By the end of the class, you’ll have the knowledge and skills needed to record and upload your own music or content to your favorite social platforms.

What to Expect
Students will be guided through setting up and using the Focusrite 8i8 interface and integrating it into popular Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like FL Studio and ProTools. You’ll learn how to set up tracks, record audio, and manage your recordings effectively within these software programs. This course provides a solid foundation in audio engineering basics, making it easy for you to start creating and sharing your own content.
Skills You’ll Acquire
• Set up and operate the Focusrite 8i8 interface
• Integrate and use the Focusrite 8i8 with DAWs such as FL Studio and ProTools
• Set up and record tracks in a studio environment
