Details | Join the Connecticut History Day, Rhode Island History Day, and the Mohegan Tribe Education and Curriculum Development teams on December 5th at the Mohegan Church to learn more about how to guide students as they develop their projects for History Day. Learn about the different categories and view examples of past projects. Gain insight on best practices for each category and learn how to help students without needing to become a filmmaker, script-writer, or website developer. Speak with Affiliate Coordinators and other educators and discover techniques that will help you incorporate History Day into your classroom curriculum. Attendees of this workshop will also be able to tour the Tantaquidgeon Museum, the oldest tribally owned and operated museum in the U.S., and hear about Mohegan focused topics related to this year’s theme of Rights and Responsibilities in History. This training is FREE. To register, click here: https://forms.gle/E1SXxQwJPxg2YjyP7.
