40th anniversary screening! An uptown office drone (Griffin Dunne) tries to make it home from SoHo after a bad date, but hits a raft of mishaps along the way. Scorsese’s black comedy features Rosanna Arquette, Verna Bloom, Teri Garr, Catherine O’Hara, Bronson Pinchot, and even Cheech and Chong. ​“Dazzling moviemaking” (Sheila Benson) that comes with a ​“dreamlike, surrealist sense of encroaching hysteria” (Eric Henderson). 35mm print from the Yale Film Archive.
