Details | Rod Cook’s A. presents the many sides of one model, Aurora, and their collaboration in Mexico celebrating the female nude. Rod reflects,”Creating a body of work with one model in a week is a daunting task, even though I am an intuitive and fast shooter… Aurora can claim, at the least, equal credit for the success we achieved.” Penrhyn’s SERENDIPITY Mexico captures chance encounters and serendipitous moments. Her photographs take a peek into the heritage of a proud culture. Cook explains “new experiences open my eyes and turns me into a storyteller. In Mexico I found vibrant tones and vibrant color, joyful celebrations of ancestors and families different from my own, and landscapes that reflect a long and illustrious history.” Gallery Hours: Thursday-Sunday, 12 – 5pm, or by appt. Address: Kehler Liddell Gallery, 873 Whalley Avenue, New Haven, CT 06515.
