Enjoy an enchanting program of harp music on Sunday May 4th with internationally renowned artist Li Shan Tan. She is the Winner of the VI International Mexico Harp Competition and has appeared as a soloist alongside cellist Yo-Yo Ma with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at the 2024 Tanglewood Music Festival. Her You Tube shenanigans of recreating video game sounds from “Among Us” on the Harp is currently at 2.19 million views. Li Shan Tan has shared the stage with groups ranging from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra to the Silk Road Ensemble to The Beach Boys and next month she will be competiting in the USA International Harp Competition in Indiana. For this concert on Sunday, May 4th, Li Shan Tan will perform works by DeFalla, Ravel, Grandjany and more. This free program is sponsored by the CT Chapter of the American Harp Society.
