Eight to the Bar marks 50 years during which we have released 14 CDs, performed in London, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, St. Croix, the Republic of Georgia (in 2011 under the auspices of the US Embassy) and up and down the East and West Coasts of the US

*For those of you who are too young to remember, Eight to the Bar started out in New Haven in 1975 as an 8‑piece Western swing band featuring a pedal steel guitar, a show-stopping frontman, a female vocal trio, lots of boogie woogie piano, and a whole lot of fun wherever we went. These originals” are returning to play a once-in-a-lifetime show at Toad’s followed by the current lineup (voted Best Band CT 2024” and featuring Collin Tilton, Van Morrison’s original sax/flute player who appears on Van’s quadruple-platinum-selling album Moondance”). This is an All Ages show.
