| Details | On the occasion of 50 years since the end of the war on Vietnam, join us for a screening of Đặng Nhật Minh’s award-winning masterpiece When the Tenth Month Comes, as part of our Solidarity Film Series. Date: Friday, August 15 Time: 7 PM (Doors Open 6:30) Location: 37 Howe Street, New Haven CT Receiving the Golden Lotus at Vietnam’s 7th International Film Festival, this film explores the impacts of war and the urgency of peace from the perspective of a rural Vietnamese community. The screening will feature an introduction from a special guest and a community discussion following the film. Refreshments will be provided. |
