Thoughts on Medical Assisted Suicide”- Film and Discussion.


This 36 minute film considers the historical context, current practice and impact on health care of the legalization and normalization of Medical Assisted Suicide. It includes interviews with disability and social justice activists such as internationally recognized palliative care physician Dr. Diane Meier and retired Connecticut Disability Rights attorney Nancy Alisberg, who each discuss their personal and professional reasons for strong opposition to the practice.
