The New Haven Oratorio Choir will present our winter concert “Heavenly Harmony”, in honor of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music and musicians, on her feast day. The choir will showcase choral works spanning various centuries and languages, with pieces from the Renaissance to contemporary compositions that embody the joy of music and singing. Featured composers will include Handel (Ode for St. Cecilia’s Day), Schubert, Billings, Morley, among others. Audience members are invited to join the choir for a reception following the concert.
