| Details | HONEYDRIPPER (John Sayles, 2007, 35mm, 124 mins) It’s 1950 in an Alabama juke joint, and the owner (Danny Glover) has one make-or-break chance to keep it open: booking the hotshot Guitar Sam. Sayles spotlights the musical cultures of the Deep South, showing resilience and renewal during the switch from acoustic to electric. The drama’s all-star cast includes Lisa Gay Hamilton, Charles S.
