| Details | PAPRIKA (Satoshi Kon, 2006, 35mm, 90 mins) 20th anniversary screening! A research psychologist fights back when sinister forces steal a dream-viewing device and bring nightmares to life. This anime thriller merges sci-fi and surrealism into a psychedelic kaleidoscope. Kon’s final feature is a “dizzying, ambitious excursion into the subconscious” (Andrea Gronvall) and “a showcase of the limitless power of the imagination” (Peter Howell).
