| Details | BIRD | SEED: Two Solo Exhibits Co-created by Nature and the Masterful Hands of Tom Edwards and Gar Waterman SUMMARY: From February 6 — March 15, 2026, Kehler Liddell Gallery presents BIRD SEED, two solo shows by Gar WATERMAN and Tom EDWARDS ARTISTS’ STATEMENT: Tom Edwards exhibits a veritable aviary in our gallery this month with over 60 interpretations of BIRD that he has printed, drawn, painted or sculpted in response to personal encounters with winged creatures or in deep reverie of birds in nature, art, science and culture. For Gar Waterman, the form, function and strategy of seeds have provided a lifetime of fascination and in SEED, he has endeavored to capture that moment of potential where biology, beauty, and imagination converge to translate nature’s quiet intelligence into stone. Established in 2003, KLG is one of New Haven’s longest running retail galleries to date. All of the artists are juried into membership. Monthly exhibitions are highlighted by free community arts programming. The gallery is free and open to the public. |
