| Details | CT State Community College Gateway will host Love Does Not Hurt, a Domestic Violence Awareness Event, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Curran Community Center, Room N100, located at 20 Church Street in New Haven. In partnership with Denisse Luciano, the event will focus on raising awareness about domestic violence, fostering open dialogue, and connecting attendees with supportive resources. The program aims to educate students and members of the broader community about recognizing unhealthy relationship patterns and understanding that love should never involve harm. The event is proudly sponsored by the Melton McAvay Center for Equity and Social Justice and The Amour Propre Fund/Lindylee Gold Center for Counseling and Wellness. “Love Does Not Hurt” is open to all members of the community. Attendees can expect an informative and reflective experience designed to promote awareness, prevention, and healing. |
