Details Join author Chris Newell for a discussion of his children’s book If You Lived during the American Revolution.” This event precedes the two-day, public Sovereignty Project conference at Yale, First America: The Legacies of the Declaration of Independence for Native Nations.”

Chris Newell is a museum professional, educator, singer, and founding director of the Native American Cultural Program for UConn and co-founder/director of education for Akomawt Educational Initiative.

In partnership with the NYU-Yale American Indian Sovereignty Project and the Yale Group for the Study of Native America.
